WHY CANCER AWARENESS?
Kappa Phi Gamma Sorority, Inc. is deeply committed to its philanthropy of cancer awareness, a cause chosen by our Founders because of its profound personal significance.
Each founder was affected by cancer in some way, and their shared experiences inspired a mission to support those battling this disease and their loved ones. Cancer touches countless lives, and we believe in standing together to make a meaningful impact.
Through education, fundraising, and service, Kappa Phi Gamma has proudly contributed to raising awareness and supporting organizations dedicated to combating cancer
C.A.R.E. WEEK
Cancer Awareness: A Real Effort (C.A.R.E.) Week is Kappa Phi Gamma’s signature annual event, held every Spring, dedicated to raising funds and awareness for cancer-related causes. During this impactful week, we organize events, service activities, and fundraisers to support local charities and cancer organizations. Our efforts have raised over $98,000 and benefited more than 40 charitable organizations. C.A.R.E. Week is a testament to our passion for service and ongoing commitment to making a difference in the fight against cancer.
Through this philanthropy, Pi Charter of Kappa Phi Gamma Sorority, Inc. proudly continues the legacy of our Founders, inspiring hope and change in the face of a disease that affects so many. Together, we bring strength, awareness, and support to those who need it most.
